Personal Counseling
We teach you how to handle just about any problem here. Some problems, however, may be more personal or complicated than you want to share with an advisor or friend.
That’s why we offer confidential counseling with a licensed counselor here on campus.
Confidential help that gets you back on track.
Here’s how the program works. At the beginning of the year, your parents sign a consent form authorizing you to use the service. Your parents won’t be notified if you get counseling, and the service is free of charge. If you do want to involve your parents, and your counselor agrees, this is also an option.
You’ll see one of our two highly skilled and compassionate counselors, Flora Field, LCSW, and counseling intern Carolyn McAleavy, MA. Between them, counseling is offered four days a week.
Almost every student who’s taken advantage of counseling has found it to be a great help. Once you’ve resolved the problems that are stressing you, every aspect of your life improves – from your schoolwork to your social life.
