Romantic Poetry, Economics, French Literature or Computer Science?

You’ll have a host of credit electives from which to choose. The courses are as close to home as Northern California Coastal Ecology and as far-reaching as A Modern History of the Middle East, as up-to-date as Programming in JAVA or as classical as The History of Ideas: Ancient through 15th Century.

You’ll also have noncredit elective (called exploratory) classes like Chess, Salsa Dancing, Debate, and Ultimate Frisbee.

Our extensive list of electives will allow you to deepen existing interests or talents, investigate new ones, or—preferably—do both.
