Technology plays a central role in learning at Sonoma Academy.

Your own Apple MacBook.

All students and faculty are given laptops to use at school and home. You'll have an Apple MacBook equipped with Microsoft Suite and Macro Media Suite as well as specialized software like Logger Pro and Geometer's Sketchpad, Audacity, Photoshop and Final Cut Express.

Your own wireless connection to the world.

You’ll be linked, though our wireless network, to the Internet and to every student and teacher on campus. This will allow you to write, create presentations, graph equations, create art, edit videos, create websites and even collaborate on projects with other students.

The school provides – and maintains – your laptop. Our students are incredibly tech savvy, and they are always willing to help new students. They and our faculty, who all have laptops, can be your “tech support” in and out of class.
