Class Endowment Fund

Sonoma Academy asks its graduating seniors to support their class’s endowment fund by pledging to make a donation each year for at least 10 years. Each class endowment fund is established with gifts from senior class parents, and then added to over time with donations from the class’s alumni. This program of alumni giving is extremely important to Sonoma Academy as it helps to create a strong, growing endowment that will over time provide long-term financial security for the school.

An endowment fund is like a savings account, expertly managed by the board’s investment committee to earn interest that is then used to support the day-to-day operations of the school. The larger our school’s endowment, the more support it provides for operations, and therefore the better the academic, extracurricular and scholarship programs.
